Privacy - Privacy policy

How APV Studio collects, uses and protects personal data on apvstudio.gr, in the client portal at portal.apvstudio.gr, and in our communication with clients.

Who we are

APV Studio (Another Point of View Studio), Vagia Georgali, 36 Agisilaou Str., 10436 Athens, Greece. Email: info@apvstudio.gr, phone: +30 694 532 0760.

What we collect

  • What you send us through the contact form, the consultation request or the newsletter sign-up (name, email, phone, company, message).
  • Client portal account details (name, email, role) and whatever you upload or write there.
  • Messages we exchange with clients by email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct, and notes of phone calls.
  • From Meta platforms (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp): the sender ID for our Page or account, profile name, Instagram username, WhatsApp phone number, and the message text and time.
  • Billing and payment details for clients.
  • Anonymous website statistics (Google Analytics with IP anonymisation), when enabled.

Messages from Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp

We keep the communication with each client in one history inside our portal, so nothing is lost between channels.

A message is stored only when its sender matches an existing client of ours. When the match is likely but not certain (for example by name), the message is held for us to confirm by hand. Messages from unknown senders are not stored. The one exception: when a message from an unknown sender looks like a business enquiry, we keep a short excerpt as a possible new client for us to review.

Our replies are only sent after a person approves them. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Our clients see only their own communication with us in the portal.

Why we use it (legal basis)

  • To answer enquiries and provide the services you engage us for (contract, or steps before a contract).
  • To keep client communication organised in one place (legitimate interest).
  • For invoicing and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
  • For the newsletter and statistics (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

Only with providers who help us operate, acting as processors: server and database hosting in the EU, Meta Platforms (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp), email providers, Elorus (invoicing) and OpenAI (a short automatic classification of messages from unknown senders, which we do not keep unless it is a business enquiry). OpenAI and Meta also process data outside the EU (mainly in the United States), under the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

For as long as we work together and as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Messages awaiting confirmation and possible new clients are deleted if they are not confirmed. You can ask for deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. Write to info@apvstudio.gr. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Data deletion

To have your data deleted, including messages from Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp, email info@apvstudio.gr with the subject "Data deletion" and tell us your name and the channel (for example your Facebook profile name or your Instagram username). We will delete your messages and identifiers within 30 days and confirm the deletion to you. Records we must keep by law (for example invoices) are kept only for as long as required.

Cookies

The website uses one cookie for your language choice and, when enabled, Google Analytics cookies for anonymous statistics. The portal uses sign-in cookies, which it needs to work.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at its end.
